Road RunningRoad includes both running and walking and attracts the vast majority of athletes to the club. Men and Ladies each have their own captains who in addition to giving advice organize such matters as training runs, teams to compete at races, etc. PDAC is well known as a Comrades Marathon club with close on 50% of the membership running Comrades each year. Normally there is a road race every weekend all through the year, which provides total variation in distances for training planning. Through the course of the year, particular races are chosen by KZNA to serve as KwaZulu-Natal Championship events. If you don’t have a calendar of events, ask the secretary and she will supply one for you with pleasure.
